Position: Manager, Sales Engineering (Remote)

About the Role

Sales Engineer Manager with significant security expertise. You should be able to articulate how current security solutions are designed and deployed, and why they are failing. You will lead a team of Enterprise Sales Engineers who are responsible for changing what the security market and customers believe is possible with a next‑generation endpoint technology. You should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment on multiple engagements.

What

You’ll Do
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Prepare technical proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback and input into the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the products and solutions, and stay up‑to‑date on emerging trends and technologies in the security industry.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop technical marketing materials, such as whitepapers and solution briefs, that support our sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in the endpoint or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to present to a variety of external audiences, including C‑level executives.
  • Strong self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering.
  • Ability to articulate complex security problems to a range of audiences.
  • Strong contacts in the information security field and strong references.
  • Understanding of the MEDDIC based sales process and how to effectively communicate technical solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel as required.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Power Shell, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies.
  • Experience with large‑scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Understanding of the OSI model.
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $135,000 – $205,000 per year, with eligibility for commissions, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.
