Purchasing Power is a leading employee purchase program that helps people buy the products and services they need through the convenience of payroll deduction. As part of PROG Holdings (NYSE: PRG), a Fin Tech holding company with more than 20 years of experience, we’re focused on building simple, responsible financial solutions that put people first. PROG Holdings’ portfolio includes Progressive Leasing, a market leader in lease‑to‑own solutions, Purchasing Power, and Four, a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform — all united by a commitment to innovation, access, and meaningful impact.

We are currently hiring a Senior Data Analyst to drive high-impact insights that shape product strategy and optimize conversion across the end‑to‑end customer journey. This role focuses on analyzing and improving key conversion points using detailed, cross‑platform data.

You will partner closely with product, design, engineering, marketing, and business teams to uncover opportunities, quantify impact, and influence strategic decisions.

Employee Value Proposition (EVP): PROG is dedicated to providing people with opportunity—opportunity for inclusive collaboration, opportunity for innovation, and opportunity for development.

WE ARE

The Product Strategy team at Progressive Leasing is a highly collaborative, cross‑functional group responsible for advancing the lease‑to‑own experience. We use data, experimentation, and customer insights to optimize performance across the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition through approval, checkout, and servicing.

Our work is grounded in a unified view of the customer across platforms, enabling us to identify friction, improve conversion, and drive measurable outcomes.

YOU ARE

A curious and self‑driven analyst who takes initiative to explore data, challenge assumptions, and uncover insights others might miss. You don’t just respond to requests—you proactively identify questions, investigate root causes, and surface opportunities.

You are comfortable working in environments where data may be incomplete, ambiguous, or evolving, and can still produce meaningful insights and direction. You balance speed with rigor—delivering timely insights while maintaining analytical integrity.

You are motivated by understanding how customers move through conversion funnels and where they encounter friction, and you can translate detailed analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

Your Day‑to‑day Conversion & Funnel Analysis
  • Analyze the end‑to‑end customer journey, identifying key conversion drivers, drop‑offs, and friction points across web, mobile, and internal systems
  • Perform deep‑Dive analyses on funnel performance, cohorts, and customer segments to uncover actionable opportunities
  • Partner with product teams to evaluate experiments and feature performance, ensuring sound interpretation of test results
  • Translate complex, cross‑platform data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve conversion and customer experience
  • Define and refine KPIs that measure funnel performance and product impact
  • Connect insights across systems to provide a holistic view of customer behavior and business outcomes
Data & Analytical Execution
  • Work with large datasets across Snowflake, HEAP analytics, Amperity CDP, and internal systems.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support analysis and reporting
  • Combine and validate data from multiple sources, navigating inconsistencies and gaps where needed
Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, marketing, and operations teams
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Help establish shared definitions and measurement frameworks for conversion and performance
You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics)
  • 5+ years of experience in product or data analytics
  • Strong experience analyzing conversion funnels and customer behavior
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working in data warehouse environments (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., HEAP) and…
