EPIC WILLOW CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Epic Willow Analysts are the primary support contact for Pharmacy applications. Willow Analysts coordinate issues which arise for their application areas and must be knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, quality standards, and business operations. As most Epic applications integrate data, the application analyst should know where each piece of data within a respective workflow originates and ultimately contributes to quality outcomes.

Familiarity with a healthcare organization's pharmacy workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences as well as understanding a wide array of integration points is required. Willow Analysts must make decisions regarding the urgency and or seriousness of calls and serve as a liaison between the technical staff of the department and the department’s wide variety of customers and must escape appropriately to resolve issues.

Depending on operations, business or project needs, Willow Analysts may be asked to perform duties outside what is defined in the job description on a temporary basis.
