AWS & DataDog Engineer - Remote

Job Title: AWS & Data Dog Engineer

Location: Fully Remote (Central/Eastern Time Zones)

Duration: Long-term Contract (12+ months minimum)

Rate: $80-$100 USD/hour

We are seeking an experienced technical professional with strong AWS and Data Dog expertise to join a long-term engagement supporting one of our clients' most established enterprise customers. This is a hands‑on, business‑focused role that requires deep understanding of AWS infrastructure (both on‑prem and cloud) and advanced proficiency in Data Dog monitoring and observability tools.

• Design, maintain, and optimize AWS environments spanning on‑prem and cloud systems
• Implement and manage Data Dog monitoring solutions across complex enterprise infrastructures
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and performance issues in real time
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical initiatives with business goals
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reliability

• 8+ years of professional experience with AWS (including hybrid/on‑prem environments)
• Proven, enterprise‑level experience with Data Dog setup, configuration, and optimization
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and monitoring best practices
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Flexible start date, but preference for availability to begin soon
• Long‑term, stable project with an established enterprise client
