DYNAMICS 365 CLOUD MIGRATION PROJECT (REMOTE)
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead our client’s migration project to Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud. The migration is from an on‑premises Microsoft Dynamics ERP system that has been in use for almost 10 years and is heavily customized with integrations and plug‑ins to other company systems. A majority of the company’s master data is stored in the system.
Because the project is challenging, a senior level of experience is required to ensure success.
The project plan has already been developed, and the initial phases have started with the company’s current IT Manager, who is very familiar with the existing system. The goal is to migrate to the cloud and to the new MS Dynamics 365, while integrating the company’s other systems into the new environment.
You will support the current IT Manager, eventually replace him, and bring your expertise to manage the project through to completion. While technical knowledge is a plus, the primary role is project management rather than code‑level tasks. The entire project will be carried out remotely. Project team members are located in Finland, abroad, and India. Candidates close to European time zones are preferred.
Yourqualifications
- Minimum experience with cloud transformation projects, specifically Microsoft ERP implementations or migrations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its capabilities
- Proficient use of Jira as a project manager
- Calm, resilient working style when faced with unexpected challenges
- Experience in agile organizations
- Technical background that allows you to provide insights into production‑level challenges
- Technical skills related to Dynamics solutions
- Experience with integration projects
- Experience working on international projects with diverse cultures and nationalities
- Experience with remote projects
- Remote (Client HQ is in Turku, Finland)
- Part‑time (approx. 2 days per week, anticipated 90 days total)
