MMIS Business Analyst – Position # 9997‑1
Overview- Location:
Columbia, SC (100% on‑site) - Contract:
6–12+ months with option to extend - Role:
Business Analyst for MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System)
- Collaborate with SCDOT IT project teams and business units to define technical requirements for multiple IT projects.
- Gather and document existing workflows and policies related to Medicaid.
- Perform configuration‑management technician duties and support the Change Man migration tool.
- Support federally mandated changes to the Medicaid system of South Carolina.
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT organization to provide technical solutions.
- Assist in the analysis of complex data and recommend actions to meet user needs.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure deliverables align with user requirements.
- Minimum one year of business‑analysis experience (IBM Cram software preferred).
- Experience with configuration management and migration tools.
- Knowledge of Medicaid systems and federal compliance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Remote, United States - Clearance:
Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance. - Role:
Support technology initiatives within APV’s HR function.
- Support medical code change requests by researching and recommending solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in healthcare IT projects.
- Assess and define business requirements for advanced healthcare applications.
- Serve as liaison between business community and IT organization.
- Provide technical solutions to meet user needs and support migration projects.
- Location:
Columbia, SC (Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days onsite) - Duration: 12+ Month contract.
- Lead redesign of PACSS financial processes.
- Facilitate program and migration readiness activities.
- Coordinate between business units and technical teams.
- Support development and enhancement of mortgage servicing solutions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality through detailed business analysis.
- Drive HR process excellence through technology implementation and continuous improvement.
- On‑site opportunity in Columbia, SC (5 days a week).
- In-plant presence required; remote work allowed only under specific circumstances.
- Hybrid work arrangements available for some roles (e.g., 4 days in office, 1 day remote).
- Some positions require full‑time residence in Eastern Time Zone.
- Contract or full‑time employment options across roles.
