The Field CISO serves as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to Cyber One customers, partnering with executive stakeholders to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives, risk management priorities, and organizational goals. This role provides strategic guidance throughout the customer lifecycle, supports complex sales opportunities, and helps organizations develop practical, outcome-driven security programs that strengthen their overall cybersecurity posture.
Success in this role requires exceptional communication, business acumen, and deep cybersecurity expertise. The Field CISO collaborates closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and executive leadership to build trusted customer relationships, guide strategic security initiatives, and position Cyber One as a valued cybersecurity partner.

- Establish trusted advisor relationships with executive-level customer stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, and executive leadership teams.
- Influence strategic customer engagements that contribute to successful business outcomes and revenue growth.
- Develop practical, multi-year cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps aligned with customer business objectives.
- Develop deep knowledge and relationships in technology offerings from cybersecurity vendors.
- Position Cyber One as a trusted cybersecurity advisor through executive presentations, workshops, and industry engagement.
- Mentor internal teams by sharing cybersecurity expertise, best practices, and strategic guidance.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, consulting, or technology leadership.
- Demonstrated experience advising executive-level stakeholders and aligning cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.
- Understanding of cybersecurity products and services from leading technology vendors.
- Experience supporting complex pre-sales engagements, executive customer discussions, or strategic cybersecurity initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, governance, risk management, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.
- Previous experience serving as a CISO, Deputy CISO, Security Practice Leader, Enterprise Security Architect, or similar executive cybersecurity role.
- Experience presenting to Boards of Directors, executive leadership teams, or other senior business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations or strategic customer pursuits.
- Experience developing multi-year cybersecurity strategies or transformation roadmaps.
- Established thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, or participation in professional cybersecurity organizations.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
- Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Vendor-specific cybersecurity certifications relevant to Cyber One's strategic technology partners (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, or similar)
- Executive-level communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear business-focused recommendations.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align cybersecurity initiatives to business objectives and risk management priorities.
- Strong consultative, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong facilitation and executive workshop leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Executive Leadership.
