Summary Job Description
Baptist Health is looking for a Cardiology Application Senior Analyst to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN. Under general direction, the analyst is responsible for application and integration of information technology in the healthcare setting. The role serves as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes.
This includes data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support. Participation in application deployment and procedure documentation is required. The analyst ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use. Technical knowledge of all phases of application system analysis and project management is required. The analyst may act as a project coordinator for medium‑sized projects with medium budgets and potentially system‑wide implications.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by analyzing expectations and requirements.
- Identify project issues and risks and resolve or escalade as appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to complete tasks.
- Lead or actively participate in meetings.
- Participate in several projects at one time.
- Lead a single project.
- Provide advanced knowledge of product features, functionality and utilization of the application software.
- Monitor system effectiveness and/or performance to determine if there are any potential problems, report critical findings to peers and/or manager and resolve moderately complex problems.
- Participate/lead in disaster recovery initiatives.
- Review and test changes, interfaces, data conversion, enhancements, and each new release as assigned.
- Provide assigned on‑site support during go‑lives and system upgrades.
- Provide 24/7 support when scheduled.
- Resolve or triage support calls as applicable.
- Serve as a resource to Associate and Intermediate level analysts as needed for resolution of support calls.
- Bachelor's degree OR Minimum four years direct experience in lieu of degree.
- Must obtain training required to support primary application (e.g., Epic Willow Inpatient, Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Beacon, Epic Ambulatory, Epic Compass Rose, Epic Willow Inventory, Omnicell) within 6 months.
