Watu seeks an accomplished infrastructure leader to own the deployment substrate across cloud and on‑prem. You will drive a 7‑person team spanning Europe, Africa, and LATAM, owning Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, site reliability, and security engineering.
Reporting to the CTO, you will stand up the team, hire roles, set technical authority, and ensure a strong boundary between deployment and product engineering. Occasional travel to Nairobi and Riga may be required.
