Project Manager

Under broad supervision, manages projects through full life cycle from project definition through implementation of project deliverables. Creates collaborative partnership with all internal and external team members to accomplish the deliverables. The CAPS Project Manager will report to the CAPS Senior Manager of Technical Solutions in the Childcare and Parent Services Division  Early Care Learning (DECAL). Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for managing individual project streams related to the Georgia Gateway Modernization project but may work on other software projects based on the needs of the Division.

This project has technical, policy, and process requirements that may impact multiple programs, work streams, and systems. This position creates project plans using appropriate project management methodologies with input from primary stakeholders, coordinates resources, and communicates progress. This position is remote based, but candidates must reside within 400 miles of the DECAL headquarters to allow for in-person meetings.

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and 5 yrs of recent project mgmt. experience - Required - 5 - Years

Project Management certification (PMP).

Experience with Salesforce platform.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agiile, Watefall, etc.) - Nice to have - 5 - Years

Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) - Nice to have - 5 - Years
