Remote work is available for eligible roles. Employees are required to work in the office at least three days a week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day determined by the employee and supervisor. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed, such as for emergencies, training, or other business needs.
Responsibilities- Administration and support of security system software/hardware at Enterprise, Mid‑Range, or Desktop levels.
- Provide direct technical support, including planning, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to security system software and hardware.
- Ensure stable performance of security-related hardware/software through performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
- Perform system maintenance and high‑level support for operating systems and related security software and hardware components.
- Plan and implement major software upgrades, ensuring change management procedures and methodologies are followed.
- Researches and evaluates products.
- Designs and implements software.
- Configures hardware.
- Installation, configuration, testing, and documentation of software.
- Conducts software upgrades and maintenance.
- Security administration.
- Technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Network analysis, administration, and configuration.
- Operating system, software products, application, and data backup and recovery.
- Disaster recovery handling.
- Performance analysis and tuning.
- Capacity planning.
- Security Principles & Technology – Mastery of 70% of primary security product administration, integration, access control systems, and security models.
- Maintenance & Monitoring – Mastery of monitoring performance, tuning, installation, configuration, and implementing customizations of primary security products; mastery of security scanning tools.
- Related Skills / Knowledge – Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, databases, browser technology, programming, and IT general control processes.
- Tech Support – Mastery of day‑to‑day issue resolution, problem solving, and change management.
- Project Management – Working knowledge and expertise in general project management.
- Education – Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience – Minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience.
