Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst – Data & Cloud Automation

Our client is seeking a Senior QA Analyst with 7+ years of experience in data quality assurance, automation testing, and cloud data validation. This role is responsible for validating enterprise data pipelines, cloud integrations, and data warehouse processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and transactional consistency across the organization's data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA automation, advanced SQL, backend/data validation, and cloud technologies, with the ability to combine automated testing strategies with hands-on manual validation to identify and resolve data integrity issues.

This position will own data quality and regression testing efforts across the cloud data platform, ensuring seamless data movement from source systems through downstream analytics and warehouse environments.

• 7+ years of experience in Data QA and QA Automation
• 7+ years of advanced SQL querying and data analysis
• 7+ years of manual backend testing and data validation
• 3+ years of experience with AWS core cloud services
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Google Big Query, or Redshift

• 2+ years of experience validating dbt (Data Build Tool) transformations
• 3+ years of Salesforce data integration testing experience
• Experience with Copado Robotic Testing or similar Salesforce automation tools (preferred)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable QA automation frameworks for cloud-based data platforms
• Perform strategic manual data validation and reconciliation across enterprise data pipelines
• Develop complex, high-performance SQL queries to validate:
  • Data accuracy and completeness
  • Schema integrity
  • Data transformations
  • End-to-end pipeline processing
• Validate transactional consistency and data mappings between Salesforce and downstream data platforms
• Execute regression testing across data integrations and cloud environments
• Leverage automated testing tools to support Salesforce and enterprise application testing
• Integrate automated quality checks and data validation processes into Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
• Partner with Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Development teams to troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues
• Identify root causes of data discrepancies and recommend improvements to data quality processes
