Change Team Member Ai Enablement

Our department ITO/CA (IT Operations Cars Assembly) enables the production of vehicles along the entire value chain with its IT systems. Whether it's the planning of a vehicle or in the direct processes in the press shop, body shop, painting, and assembly up to delivery - our IT systems are in use around the clock, worldwide at all vehicle production sites.

One of our challenges in the coming years lies in scaling our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - we are driving the global rollout forward. And that's where we come in as a Change Team:

Our goal is to implement the transformation of the MES through the targeted use of AI faster, more efficiently, and with higher quality - and to set up the system for a growing global customer base. AI actively supports in everyday life: from improving the user experience and system performance to intelligently controlled incident processes and continuous optimization through learning, agent-based solutions.

This way we drive standardization, scaling, and increasing AI-supported automation - with the aim of making transformation measurably better.

What you can expect from us:

• Collaboration in the Change Team with a focus on AI enablement in the MES and cloud transformation
• Building and developing AI workflows and multi-agent systems in the IT environment
• Supporting our IT product teams in the use of GenAI, Copilot, n8n, LLMs, and agent-based solutions
• Identification and implementation of use cases for efficiency improvement through AI along the entire value chain
• Active role as an AI pioneer & enabler in the organization

More specifically:

• Conception and implementation of AI-supported E2E workflows
• Development of solutions that:
• Recognize risks early and address them proactively
• Automatically classify, route, and - if possible - directly resolve requests
• Provide context-based support (e.g., logs, patterns, next meaningful steps)
• Provide on-demand business knowledge
• Learn from incidents to systematically avoid repetitions
• Development of prototypes and integrations (e.g., with Python, APIs, Copilots)
• Integration of AI into existing tool chains (e.g., Git Hub, Git Hub Copilot, Jira, Confluence)
• Building best practices for sustainable AI usage (e.g., prompt engineering, token efficiency, evaluation)
• Conducting workshops and enablement formats for IT teams
• Creating guides, playbooks, and Confluence content to scale AI in the company
• Close cooperation in a small, effective team with a lot of scope for initiative

Work model

Mobile working is basically possible, workshops, mode rations, and coordination days take place on-site, predominantly in Stuttgart. The mix of remote work and on-site presence is an integral part of our future working model.

The position can start in October 2026.

• Ongoing studies in the field of IT, computer science, data science, AI, or comparable
• First experience in handling AI/GenAI/LLMs and modern AI tools
• Interest or practical experience in:
• Agent-based systems / multi-agent workflows
• Automation & process optimization with AI
• Prompt engineering & AI interaction design
• Hands-on mentality:
  You build things yourself and think in solutions
• Experience in the IT environment, especially with AI in the environment Git, Git Hub Copilot, Jira & Confluence
• Understanding of modern software development, Dev Ops, or cloud advantageous
• Structured, self-reliant working style and pioneer spirit
• Very good communication skills - You can convey AI in an understandable way
• Very good German and good English skills
