Lead Dev Ops Engineer (Infrastructure Scale & Enablement)
Stack: AWS (ECS, Cloud-First), Terraform, Git Hub, MongoDB, Snowflake, GCP
MissionWe are seeking a visionary Lead Dev Ops Engineer to transform our infrastructure from a centralized resource into a scalable, self‑service platform. Our "cloud-first" architecture requires infrastructure to move at the speed of the business.
Your primary mission is to organize our existing AWS/GCP footprint and architect a secure, scalable foundation that enables both engineering and non‑engineering departments to build and deploy applications safely. You are not just managing servers; you are building the internal cloud that will power our next phase of growth.
The RoleAs the Lead Dev Ops Engineer, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our infrastructure. You will be the primary architect for our Terraform‑led environment, ensuring that our ECS clusters, data warehouses (Snowflake), and multi‑cloud integrations (AWS/GCP) are robust, secure, and highly available.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Orchestration:
Standardize and organize our existing infrastructure using Terraform. Move infrastructure toward being fully versioned, modular, and reproducible. - Scalable Access & Authorization:
Architect and implement sophisticated authorization and access control models for compute resources, ensuring the right people have the right access without bottlenecks. - Democratizing Development:
Design and build the tooling necessary to enable non‑engineering departments to build and manage applications within secure, governed environments. - Multi‑Cloud Integration:
Manage our enterprise AWS footprint (ECS, Lambdas) while seamlessly integrating Google Cloud features for OAuth, IAM, and user management. - Operational Excellence:
Partner with engineering leadership to integrate CI/CD best practices into the SDLC, ensuring a fail‑fast environment that remains stable for enterprise usage.
- Enablement Mindset:
You believe that Dev Ops is about removing friction. You don't just "fix things"; you build systems that prevent breakdowns and empower others to move faster. - Security‑First Architect:
You have deep experience in IAM, OAuth, and resource‑level authorization. You can secure a complex, multi‑cloud environment without stifling innovation. - Master of IaC:
You treat infrastructure as code in your sleep. You have a proven track record of refactoring "spaghetti" infrastructure into clean, modular Terraform. - Collaborative Leader:
You can speak the language of a developer, a data scientist (Snowflake), and a business stakeholder. You enjoy the challenge of scaling a platform to meet diverse departmental needs.
- Cloud Platforms
: AWS (Primary – ECS), Google Cloud (Identity/OAuth) - Infrastructure as Code
:
Terraform - Data & Analytics
:
MongoDB, Snowflake - CI/CD & Source
:
Git Hub, Git Hub Actions
