Overview
Sr. Data Analyst position with Target Data Entry Remote Jobs, Target Careers. Hiring Organization:

Minneapolis, MN (remote work options may apply).
- Transform information into data, data into knowledge, and insights into business choices.
- Support decisions such as item highlight prioritization, information methodology, use case influence evaluation, and potential A/B test rollout decisions.
- Use storytelling and analytical communication to inform business leaders with data, experiences, testing, and estimation plans.
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analysis capabilities; monitor and improve data quality and visitor information quality.
- Identify, examine, and interpret patterns in complex data sets to illuminate business metrics and guides.
- Create and automate reports and dashboards that illuminate and influence business strategy.
- Share information and insights with partners and enable self-service tools to empower faster, better decisions.
- Clarify how we measure a business area from data collection to the use of insights from reports and analyses.
- Work with stakeholders to define data definitions, data quality standards, and exception rules; ensure data is categorized appropriately (PII and other relevant boundaries).
- Participate in information and analytical capabilities, including ideation and planning.
- Interpret data, communicate results, and provide ongoing reporting and dashboards to monitor data health and product OKRs.
- Identify new opportunities for data process improvement and optimization.
- Understand end-to-end data streams across delivery, deployment, and change management; collaborate with the data administration team to ensure compliance with standards.
- Anticipate issues and take steps to resolve them quickly.
- Four-year degree in a technical/analytical field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in analytics and reporting in Digital or Retail contexts.
- Proficiency with multiple analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Hadoop/Hive, DOMO) or equivalent technologies with a strong ability to learn new tools.
- Experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling, A/B and multivariate testing, and statistical standards.
- Ability to manage and address multiple complex needs while aligning with Target’s objectives and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams and facilitate productive discussions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working in an agile environment is preferred.
- Willingness to work with Visitor Analytics and handle large datasets spanning multiple business areas.
