Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for our next Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing Dev Ops team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, automating, and optimizing our infrastructure.

You will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Terra Form, Packer, Ansible, Bit Bucket, and Git, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will take ownership of complex tasks, proactively solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the Senior Dev Ops Engineer mentors and supports team members while fostering a collaborative and efficient engineering culture.

This position is based in Europe, preferably in France or England, from our offices in Sophia-Antipolis and Lyon, France, or Tamworth, England, with a hybrid schedule or remote work options.

• Architect, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, and other automation platforms.
• Manage source control systems (Bit Bucket, Git) and enforce best practices in branching, merging, and version control.
• Identify, address, and reduce technical debt in infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability in cloud-based environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues and infrastructure problems efficiently.
• Advocate for and enforce best practices in code quality, automation, and Dev Ops methodologies.
• Lead technical discussions and design sessions, breaking down large challenges into manageable tasks.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers on Dev Ops tools, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, security, product, and IT teams to align infrastructure goals.
• Promote documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvements across the Dev Ops Organization.

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation
• Expertise in Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Ansible, Bit Bucket, and Git
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar tools
• Solid experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power Shell, yaml) for automation
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD principles, source control management, and deployment best practices
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, Git Hub Actions, AWS/GCP is a plus)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Ability to navigate, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale infrastructure architectures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor others
• Exposure to multi-platform development (Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS)
• Professional working proficiency in English

• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Dev Ops-related fields
• Experience with package managers, data management and optimized retrieval
• Familiar with agile development workflows and Jira
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Experience working with a global team
• French language skills
