The AI division, attached to the Information Systems Directorate of LCL, is a team of human scale composed of a scientific team (Data Science & Data Engineering), three scientific project managers, a technical architecture manager and its manager. It aims to propose innovative solutions based on Data Science to meet the various business needs of the bank, with a view to industrializing the projects carried out.

The role:

As Lead AI Engineer, you will play a central role in defining the technical strategy, mentoring engineers and ensuring the operational excellence of AI solutions deployed. You will be the guarantor of the quality, robustness and scalability of projects, from proof of concept to their maintenance in production on a large scale.

Your missions:

Technical Leadership and Strategy (MLOps & GenAI Ops):

• Define the technical vision for the industrialization of AI projects, in collaboration with the team manager
• Lead the design of AI product technical architectures, ensuring the choice of technologies and design patterns.
• Mentor and guide the team of AI Engineers on technical aspects, promoting their skills development and disseminating best practices.
• Be the technical reference on CI/CD pipelines for the automation of the delivery of models, code and infrastructure.
• Guide the management and optimization of deployment infrastructure (Kubernetes, Managed Cloud Services), particularly on GPU pools, in alignment with performance and cost objectives.

Piloting Industrialization and Reliability:

• Supervise the integration of security principles "by design" in AI applications to protect models and data against specific threats.
• Pilot the implementation of advanced monitoring and supervision of solutions via dashboards
• Ensure the reliability and maintainability of production systems, defining quality standards and intervention procedures.

Expertise in Generative AI Industrialization (LLMOps / GenAI Ops):

• Lead the deployment of strategic applications based on LLMs, defining the standards for their lifecycle industrialization (prompts, vector bases).
• Conduct active technological surveillance on the MLOps/GenAI ecosystem and influence future technological choices of the division.
• Act as the preferred contact point for CAGIP (group entity) and other technical teams.

Experience:

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in the production of AI models.

Technical skills: You have excellent mastery of CI/CD concepts and ecosystem (MLOps & Dev Ops), particularly the tools Git Lab, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP Vertex and Python. Your expertise extends to technologies such as Git, Vault, JFrog, Grafana, Redis and PostgreSQL, allowing you to build and maintain robust and scalable pipelines. Good knowledge of AI (Machine Learning, Gen-AI, LLM ecosystem) is also required to understand business and technical issues.
