As a PC Support Associate, you will assist with the installation, configuration, and modification to personal computer hardware and software systems. Assists IT PC Support Manager and other PC Support Technicians in completing IT tasks to keep the department organized and efficient. This individual will work a maximum of 18 hours per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Ideally one year of work experience in an office setting.
- Education: High School Diploma required
- Skills: Some knowledge with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite. Technical skills are a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, and printers, and disk drives in user s workstations.
- Assists with reimaging of desktops and laptops.
- Assists with inventory tracking for the department.
- Actively updates documentation on processes and department standards across multiple IT sub departments.
- Loads specified software packages such as operating systems and supporting programs onto desktop or laptop computer.
- Performs minor remedial actions to correct problems.
- Follows all IT department processes, standards, and procedures.
