PositionAssociate Architect
Job Location1501 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy Suite 140, Dallas, TX 75234 (and other U.S. locations; may work from home)
Responsibilities- Provide end‑to‑end solution design, configuration, implementation, data analytics, and testing of solutions and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in process and business requirements sessions with clients and document every session for business process leveraging industry standards.
- Identify and collect supply‑chain data, including historical sales, shipment, inventory, logistics, and other operational data from databases, Excel sheets, and client emails.
- Convert business logic to technical platform design, including knowledge of platform infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects and directors to develop functional and technical designs, document data requirements, and build complex datasets.
- Configure technical specification documents and tool configurations in the o9 platform to solve operational and supply‑chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring systems.
- Apply mathematical models, predictive methods, statistical techniques, optimization algorithms, and simulations to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large enterprise data.
- Provide business insights and data visualisations to client management.
- Use statistical and optimisation tools and programming languages to conduct data integration through extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Create models to generate time‑series forecasts and operational plans.
- Collaborate with internal research and development teams to resolve solution gaps and deploy fixes in the customer environment.
- Create and execute workflow and data analytics test cases, document issues, and track progress at resolving issues.
- Design and implement a testing protocol, with support from junior analysts, with the end goal of automating testing.
- Work with clients, cross‑functional teams, IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of projects.
- Plan, develop, and deliver super‑user and end‑user training for a global user base.
- Work with strategists and senior directors to finalize functional and technical design, document data requirements, and build complex datasets.
- Implement supply‑chain planning solutions in the supply‑chain and logistics organization.
- Lead a team through the full lifecycle of a supply‑chain planning solution implementation, including business requirement gathering, solution design, development, UAT, SIT, go‑live cutover, and value realization.
- Use agile methodology to deliver large‑scale enterprise implementations.
- Utilise statistical, optimisation, and simulation skills through software tools and packages including R, SAS, and CPLEX.
- Utilise spreadsheets and software including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Understand and train in databases SQL Server, MySQL, SQL, MDX, and T‑SQL.
- Domestic travel required between 30–40%.
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering or Business Analytics.
- Minimum one year of experience in the offered role or in a related occupation implementing supply‑chain planning solutions.
- Experience working in a supply‑chain and logistics organization.
- Leadership experience through the full lifecycle of a supply‑chain planning solution implementation, including business requirement gathering, solution design, development, UAT, SIT, go‑live cutover, and value realization.
- Experience using agile methodology to deliver large‑scale enterprise implementations.
- Proficiency in statistical, optimisation, and simulation skills through software tools and packages, including R, SAS, and CPLEX.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and software, including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Understanding and training experience in databases SQL Server, MySQL, SQL, MDX, and T‑SQL.
- Domestic travel required between 30–40%.
