The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support project demands is expected.

This role requires participation in an on-call rotation (one week every month).

Incumbent should be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK). Remote work options may be available outside of the 4-state footprint upon further review during the interview process.

• Hands-on experience working within an IBM iSeries environment.
• Strong development or troubleshooting skills using RPG and CL
  .
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience utilizing IBM i utilities and automation tools, specifically Fortra Robot Suite and BRMS
  .
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies including HTML and CSS
  .

Application Support Analyst 2

An Application Support Analyst (ASA) 2 at Arvest is an independent, professional responsible for support of multiple software applications and systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, updating, and ensuring compliance. They oversee the deployment and integration of complex applications, playing a crucial role in maintaining the stability and reliability of the organization’s software and enabling effective and efficient operations.

• Provide daily operational support for complex application systems with minimal guidance, resolve nearly all escalated support issues independently, and conduct research to evaluate problem(s) and determine the optimal course of action.

• • Implement, patch, test and apply updates to complex solutions/applications.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate party where required.
• Partner with development and engineering colleagues and various business leaders to coordinate systems implementation and releases.
• Prepare supporting documentation, including training materials and user guides.
• Participate in post-implementation application reviews to ensure effectiveness, reliability, and compliance to the business.
• Test new releases/products prior to installation.
• Analyze problem trends and recommend solutions to management.
• Provide direct assistance to users to resolve system problems and responds to questions.
• Examine processes to determine opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain record of system requests and problems that occur (down time, system failure, error messages, and actions taken).
• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans at the application level.
• Participates in on-call rotations as needed.
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Toolbox for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent relevant work or military experience
• 2 years of relevant experience
• A broad range of skills including:
  • Scripting/programming (Python, SQL, Terraform, Powershell)
  • Troubleshooting/problem solving
  • Server maintenance and administration
  • Application administration
• Experience with SaaS
• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members

• Banking experience preferred
• Encompass experience highly preferred (Encore, Originate, Pay Plus)
• Google Cloud Certification is a plus
