Senior IT System Engineer:
Designing, maintaining, and automating the IT infrastructure (network, identity, endpoints) with an accent on enhancing the MDM landscape and integrating key systems like Google Workspace, Okta, and Zscaler. Focus on strengthening security posture, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring system reliability across a multi-platform environment.
Location:
Hybrid in Berlin. Offers extended remote work options for up to 120 days per year within the EU, the UK, and Switzerland

What you will do- Design and maintain scalable IT infrastructure components across network, identity, and endpoint systems.
- Manage and enhance the MDM landscape for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, including patch and lifecycle management.
- Implement automation, workflows, and integrations across tools such as Google Workspace, Okta, Zscaler, or Atlassian.
- Troubleshoot complex issues (2nd/3rd level) and support IT projects, migrations, and rollouts.
- Strengthen security, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, processes, and guidelines.
- Degree or vocational training in IT or equivalent experience, with 4+ years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge in at least two of the following:
Google Workspace, Okta (especially Workflows), Zscaler, or Atlassian. - Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., Python, GoogleScript, JavaScript, Powershell).
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance.
- Analytical thinking, structured working style, and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong English skills to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
