Overview
Rural Mutual Insurance is looking for an experienced and motivated data professional to play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s data warehouse and related data marts. As a Data Engineer
, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and building data models that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data engineering and data modeling principles, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and data models on cloud technologies.
This is a remote position with periodic on-site presence required. Candidates must live and work in Wisconsin and have eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain the company’s data warehouse and related data marts.
- Implement and optimize data pipelines to ensure data quality and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain data models to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Deep understanding of data engineering and data modeling principles.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and data models in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
