POSITION SUMMARY.
The Cloud Dev Ops Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring that Medi Quant’s applications are developed, tested, and deployed efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and demonstrate expertise in automating and streamlining processes to enhance productivity and collaboration across teams.
This role involves managing and optimizing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring the overall health, performance, and security of our systems. The Dev Ops Engineer will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Development, QA, and IT teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality software delivery. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a commitment to staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Dev Ops role with a focus on Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Expert working experience of Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards in solutions like Azure Dev Ops.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Additional Eligibility
Qualifications:
- Azure Dev Ops Engineer certification is a plus.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools.
Work Environment. This job operates in a blend of professional office and home office environments. Incumbent will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
