BI Engineer

BI Engineer (Gaming):
Develop and maintain BI dashboards, data models, and fraud analytics systems for mobile games with an accent on data integrity and fraud detection. Focus on building scalable reporting infrastructure, complex SQL queries, and cross-team collaboration to protect against fraudulent behavior.

• Develop and maintain Looker dashboards and reports for Puzzle play and related game clients.
• Design metric logic, build aggregate tables, and own data modelling for high-scale reporting.
• Write custom SQL rules to detect suspicious user behavior and lead fraud investigations.
• Create business-facing documentation including metric definitions and data dictionaries.
• Collaborate with UA, Product, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to incorporate new data sources.
• Define and document BI best practices and guide business areas for consistency.

• Location:
  Must be based in or near Tbilisi, Georgia with hybrid work attendance.
• Experience with Looker or similar BI tools and advanced SQL skills (Snowflake, Big Query).
• Proven experience in data analytics, dashboard delivery, and large dataset manipulation.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical ability or experience in fraud detection or behavior-based heuristics development.

• Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
• Experience with Looker APIs.
• Background in mobile app, ad tech, or gaming industries.
• Experience working with product and user acquisition teams.
