Position: Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Octave Sequence (EcoSys) Configuration Specialist, ANS

You’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving—and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.

You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI, transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed.

Responsibilities
  • Configure Octave Sequence / Eco Sys modules, including project setup, cost management, change management, forecasting, and reporting based on client requirements.
  • Translate business processes and project controls requirements into system configurations, workflows, and data structures.
  • Support end‑to‑end implementation activities: design workshops, system build, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform fit‑gap analysis between client requirements and system capabilities and propose practical configuration solutions.
  • Design and develop standard and custom reports, dashboards, and data models (e.g., cost reports, change tracking, forecasting views, earned value metrics).
  • Support integration with key enterprise systems such as SAP, Primavera P6, and other project controls tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, structure, and governance across CBS/WBS, budgets, forecasts, and change controls.
  • Provide L2/L3 functional support—issue resolution, root cause analysis, and minor enhancements within an AMS model.
  • Support configuration updates, releases, and system enhancements aligned to evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing system usage, workflows, and reporting.
  • Participate in client workshops and requirement sessions, documenting functional design and configuration decisions.
  • Support development of training materials and end‑user enablement sessions.
  • Mentor junior resources on configuration, reporting, and platform capabilities.
  • Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and accelerators for Eco Sys / OSE implementations.
Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of experience in PMIS implementation, Octave Sequence configuration, or project controls systems.
  • Hands‑on experience configuring Hexagon Eco Sys / Octave Sequence Enterprise across key modules (cost, change, forecasting, reporting).
  • Strong understanding of capital project controls disciplines (cost management, scheduling interfaces, forecasting, change management).
  • Experience supporting system implementations or AMS engagements in capital projects environments.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into system design and configuration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Experience with complex report development and data modeling within Eco Sys / OSE (advanced formulas, enterprise reporting).
  • Familiarity with integration architecture across PMIS, ERP, and scheduling systems.
  • Exposure to global delivery models and working across multiple time zones.
  • Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or EPC environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and system administration activities related to Eco Sys.
  • Exposure to data analytics, automation, or AI‑enabled reporting within capital project environment.
