• Hybrid or remote based on proximity to Aflac offices in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC.
• Hybrid: office work for at least 60% of the work week if within 50 miles of the offices; remaining time remote.

  Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 10 years of professional, job‑related experience, including 5 years of management experience
• Experience in system design, cloud computing, infrastructure management, Dev Ops practices, or Salesforce ecosystems

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Develop and implement the IT engineering strategy aligned with the organization’s overall objectives.
• Collaborate with executives to identify technology opportunities that drive business growth and efficiency.
• Establish engineering roadmaps and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of IT engineers and technical professionals.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.

The salary range for this job is $165,000 - $260,000. Compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
