Lead Architect, HayloARC
HayloARC is looking for a talented Lead Architect to join our growing team. This position is located in our New York City office on a hybrid work schedule; three (3) days in office depending on business needs. This is a technical leadership position requiring experience in advertising technology.

In this high-impact leadership role, you will champion the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, orchestrate a modern data warehouse, and pioneer our first steps into predictive modeling and AI.

Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the VP Enterprise Architecture, lead the design and development of the HayloARC platform
- Partner with the Product team to translate business requirements into a robust, scalable technical roadmap
- Coordinate with the Development, Data Engineering and BI teams to build effective solutions, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements
- Collaborate with the Dev Ops team on the architecture, design and scalability of the Cloud infrastructure
- Own the external integration strategy, focusing on scalable API design, efficient client onboarding, and managing vendor/partner data exchange to ensure seamless interoperability
- Proactively manage technical debt by balancing long-term architectural health against immediate business requirements
- Drive adoption of modern development practices and standards
- Collaborate with product and finance teams on project schedules and budgets
- Develop ongoing innovation as we begin to integrate predictive modeling and early AI into product features
- Mentor the Development team to foster technical growth and excellence
- Keep up to date with industry trends and platforms to address business needs, and drive innovation
- Responsible for evaluating vendors and solutions to recommend build vs buy
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Architect
- Experience working with and designing complex systems, open source, or internally developed. Ensuring that systems are scalable and adhere to web best practices
- Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., Event-Driven, Microservices, CQRS)
- Experience documenting system architecture and design
- Ability to communicate technical information for business stakeholders, and clients
- Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions
- Experience with Docker or other containerization
- Experience working with SQL and No
SQL databases - Knowledge of security best practices regarding data, file storage, and SDLC
- Experience with system observability and monitoring performance
- Experience working in an agile environment such as Scrum, Kanban
- Experience evaluating enterprise platforms, vendors, and RFPs
- Experience managing simultaneous projects and prioritizing tasks

- The salary range for this position is $150,000–$170,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
