JOB DESCRIPTION Are you considering transitioning from your current entry-level position in Criminal Justice to becoming a Digital Reporter? In this role, you'll oversee civil litigation proceedings and use digital tools to record all content, including witness testimonies.

The Digital Reporter is responsible for:
* Overseeing proceedings as an independent custodian of the record.
* Administering oaths to witnesses and fulfilling State Notary duties.
* Recording proceedings with high-fidelity audio technology for clear and comprehensive documentation.
* Annotating case events and terminology accurately for precise transcription.
* Conducting in-depth research and verifying information from various sources.
* Utilizing digital databases and online research tools proficiently.### REQUIREMENTS
* State Notary Commission or eligibility to obtain it
* Possess or have the ability to obtain certification/state licensure (in required states)
* Familiarity with or willingness to learn about U.S. civil procedures
* Possess or be willing to acquire digital reporting equipment
* Comfortable moderating live legal proceedings
* Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing
* Strong technology skills, especially in typing
* Professional demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and appearance
* Willingness to work as an independent contractor
