Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- 10-12+ years of hands‑on Service Now experience
- 2-3+ years of experience serving in a Service Now Architect capacity
- Strong understanding of Service Now platform architecture, design principles, and governance
- Experience implementing and supporting multiple Service Now products and modules
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive architectural decisions in complex enterprise environments
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and support
- Experience analyzing large datasets and leveraging insights to drive business and technology decisions
- Ability to lead large projects, influence technical direction, and mentor less experienced team members
- Service Now Certified Architect certification
- Experience across multiple Service Now modules, including:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Field Service Management (FSM)
- IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Experience with Service Now Analytics, reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Exposure to Service Now AI capabilities, Virtual Agent, and automation initiatives
- Knowledge of enterprise technologies such as cloud platforms, infrastructure modernization, AI, IoT, edge computing, or emerging technologies
- Experience establishing platform standards, governance frameworks, and architectural best practices across large organizations
Insight Global is seeking a Service Now Domain Architect to lead the design, strategy, and evolution of enterprise‑wide Service Now solutions. This individual will serve as a key technical leader responsible for aligning Service Now capabilities with business objectives, ensuring scalable architecture, and driving platform modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across the Service Now ecosystem and will partner closely with both technical and business stakeholders to define future‑state architecture, establish best practices, and support large‑scale platform implementations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can guide technical decision‑making, evaluate emerging technologies, and help organizations maximize their Service Now investment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining enterprise‑level Service Now architecture and roadmap strategies
- Providing technical leadership and guidance for complex platform implementations and enhancements
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals
- Establishing architecture standards, governance, and best practices across the platform
- Supporting large‑scale projects with minimal oversight while mentoring junior team members
- Evaluating platform capabilities, integrations, automation opportunities, and AI‑driven solutions
- Analyzing complex business and technical challenges and providing scalable solutions
- Contributing to data analysis, reporting, and platform optimization initiatives
