ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Advanced Business Systems Analyst to join a leading healthcare organization. This is a fully remote contract opportunity supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives and complex business system implementations. The initial contract runs through February 2027, with strong potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.

This role is ideal for a strong technical Business Systems Analyst with prior healthcare industry experience who thrives working directly with business leaders to gather requirements, analyze complex data, and translate business needs into technical solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, architects, and data engineers to support mission-critical healthcare applications and enterprise data initiatives.

The Advanced Business Systems Analyst serves as the technical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, leading the analysis, documentation, and implementation of complex healthcare solutions. This position requires someone who is comfortable working "in the weeds" with business users and directors to understand operational challenges, define business requirements, and translate them into detailed technical specifications for development teams.

This team is highly focused on enterprise data management, making prior experience with data analysis, data management, data cleansing, data storage, and system integrations essential. Strong SQL skills are required, and experience supporting healthcare interoperability initiatives is highly desirable.

• Partner directly with business stakeholders, directors, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the functional and technical lead for complex business systems initiatives throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Facilitate business process analysis sessions and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to define technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Drive business architecture, capability roadmap development, and solution strategy for assigned business domains.
• Analyze enterprise healthcare data and support initiatives involving data management, data quality, cleansing, storage, and integration.
• Write and analyze complex SQL queries to validate business requirements, support data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and assist testing efforts.
• Review and refine user stories and acceptance criteria with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop business process documentation, workflow diagrams, data mappings, integration specifications, and functional design documents.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including development of test plans, test cases, and user sign-off.
• Support production implementations, operational readiness, warranty support, production issue resolution, and ongoing system enhancements.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as Product Owner when needed and provide leadership across cross-functional teams.
