Retirement Administration Data Manager
This is a remote position. Peoplr is seeking a Retirement Administration Data Manager for our client, October Three, a defined benefit retirement outsourcing company on a mission to improve the way people retire. This job is ideal for passionate leaders who love to mentor their direct reports and collaborate to solve complex data issues. The Retirement Administration Data is a full-time, regular role.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) As a Retirement Administration Data Manager, you will… Lead and develop a team of data professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction Oversee the processing and management of client pension data, including recurring data feeds and pension payroll file transmissions Direct data conversion activities for new client implementations and special projects, ensuring accurate data migration, validation, and integration Manage the delivery of annual actuarial valuation extracts, ad hoc reporting requests, data updates, and other client-specific processing needs Establish, maintain, and enforce data governance standards while identifying and implementing process improvements and system enhancements Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, HSA, FSA, employee assistance programs, PTO, 401(k), and a cash balance pension plan Required Qualifications 5+ years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and manage junior data analysts Hands-on experience working with defined benefit pension plan provisions Proficiency with pension systems, translating and manipulating HRIS and financial data to support successful retirement data conversions Technical literacy, including advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and SQL proficiency Understanding of data structure and organization;
ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex data issues Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management traits, including basic project management skills Strong logical and critical thinking skills Strong communication skills including client-facing communication High school diploma Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of ETL tools such as SSIS or Informatica Proficiency with reporting tools such as Tableau or Quick Sight At this time, we are not accepting applicants in the states of CA, CO, HI, IL, MA, MN, MD, NJ, NY, VT, WA, or Washington D.C.
