Position

Summary

The IT Systems Administrator manages and supports IME’s IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include identity and access management, compliance support, backup and disaster recovery, and collaboration with enterprise IT teams to support network operations, facility technology, and job‑site deployments.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure, Systems & Data Management
  • Install, configure, maintain, and monitor servers, operating systems, and on‑premises infrastructure.
  • Integrate hybrid environments with parent company systems (Quanta) including Microsoft 365, JDE, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Perform system updates, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Manage on‑premises and cloud‑based storage solutions, monitor utilization and capacity planning.
  • Ensure data retention, archiving, and lifecycle policies comply with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Security, Access & Compliance
  • Enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage identity and access control via Active Directory and Entra .
  • Monitor for vulnerabilities, apply patches, and assist incident response.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
  • Support SOX compliance through documentation of controls and change management.
Network, Facilities & Site Deployment
  • Partner with Quanta‑managed network teams to ensure stability and performance.
  • Support facility‑related technology systems (alarm, door access, phone, conference room tech).
  • Troubleshoot local connectivity and infrastructure issues.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT setup for new offices and construction job sites.
  • Deploy networking equipment, endpoints, and connectivity solutions in dynamic environments.
Backup, Disaster Recovery & Continuity
  • Implement and maintain backup strategies using Veeam or Commvault.
  • Develop, test, and document disaster recovery plans.
  • Perform periodic recovery testing to validate backup integrity.
Collaboration, Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead and support IT projects, coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and parent company IT on aligned outcomes.
  • Participate in planning, architecture decisions, and process improvements.
  • Drive standardization and optimization of IT processes.
Tools, Technologies & Technical Expertise
  • Identity & Access:
    Active Directory, Microsoft Entra
  • Scripting:
    Power Shell and related tools
  • Backup:
    Veeam, Commvault
  • Cloud Platforms:
    Microsoft Azure, AWS
  • Enterprise Systems: JDE (User Access)
  • Productivity & Administration:
    Microsoft 365 administration
Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPO, virtualization) and networking fundamentals.
  • Understanding of security and compliance best practices, including SOX/ITGCs and access controls.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing (RPO/RTO).
  • Ability to deploy and support IT solutions in both office and remote/job‑site environments.
  • Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Effective project coordination skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Adaptability in a hybrid IT environment.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience administering and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, including on‑premises and cloud systems.
