Job Description
Candidate must have experience serving as primary point of contact for users experiencing help‑desk related issues. The role requires an analyst with a background in diagnosing software problems, resolving user inquiries for manual data manipulation, and managing incident documentation in the JIRA ticketing system. Responsibilities include ensuring seamless business operations for the Success data conversion project, interacting with DHS program areas and technical staff regarding business and IT needs, managing ticket intake, prioritizing and tracking support requests from phone, email, or chat portals, escalating complex or recurring issues to a supervisor or manager, and documenting root causes to inform system enhancements.
TrainingRequirement
All candidates must train onsite in Jackson, MS for six weeks before transitioning to a remote work arrangement.
Required Skills- Minimum 5 years of experience with automated systems for determining benefits for SNAP, TANF, or E&T.
- Proficiency with JIRA (documented change system)
- Proficiency with Windows applications
