Job Overview

SQL DB2 Oracle 19c Administrator for SCDMV located in Blythewood, SC. This is a 12‑month contract position starting 12‑29‑2025. The role is 100% on‑site and requires the candidate to be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate at their own expense.

• Assess existing ERwin models and produce current state assessment reports.
• Create and update logical and physical data models in ERwin format (.erwin files).
• Develop data dictionaries and related documentation.
• Maintain a version‑controlled repository of data models.
• Identify and resolve data integrity, consistency, and duplicate data issues.
• Provide reporting and recommendations to address identified issues.
• Deliver weekly progress reports and a final summary report at project closeout.
• Support the SQL database administration team with production‑support activities such as ad‑hoc daily tickets, version updates, security updates, and other tasks as directed.
• Reverse and forward engineer database structures.
• Advise on best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation.
• Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models to support scalability, integrity, and performance.
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into data models.
• Manage version control of data models and maintain model repositories.
• Support data governance and compliance initiatives through modeling strategies.
• Apply the same modeling activities to MS SQL databases.

• Proficiency with ERwin Data Modeling Tool.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and DB2 Oracle 19c.
• Experience with data modeling, data dictionary creation, and model documentation.
• Ability to work with version control systems for data models.
• Knowledge of data integrity and consistency best practices.

• Contract:
  
  12 months, with possibility for extension.

  Blythewood, SC (10311 Blythewood Rd, Monday‑Friday).
• Work schedule:
  
  100% on‑site; may require working beyond normal business hours.
• Remote work not permitted.
