About the Role

Senior Data Steward, Master Data plays a key role in managing customer data as a strategic business asset across all Thomson Reuters business units. The role is responsible for gathering information requirements, entering, maintaining, and monitoring core data to ensure alignment with company data governance policies and data quality standards.

• Manages customer data content on the MDM platform via the customer data model.
• Monitors, validates, and executes data creation and change requests in the data hub accurately and in a timely manner.
• Develops and provides expertise on one or more data domains, primarily customer and contact domains.
• Manages and controls risks associated with the respective data domains.
• Proactively monitors and maintains data quality.
• Supports continuous improvement of master data management processes.
• Manages customer domain metadata within the Enterprise Master Data Catalog.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures around data attributes.
• Prevents duplication of new data elements and ensures timely inactivation of obsolete elements.
• Collaborates with business and technical process owners to troubleshoot data issues.
• Defines and documents standard operating procedures, process flows, and related documentation for all enterprise master data.
• Supports projects to ensure master data items are addressed according to established standards.
• Performs data cleansing, enrichment, and testing cycles for system upgrades and projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years in a master data application role or business analytics/analysis.
• Experience in data management and manipulation.
• Experience working with virtual teams across global locations.
• Demonstrated ability to author and manage documentation such as Business Requirements Documents.
• Experience translating business requirements to technical specifications.
• Familiarity with quality management methodologies (Root Cause Analysis).
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including presentation competence.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Relationship‑management proficiency to meet financial and business goals.
• Ability to work confidentially and responsibly with sensitive information.
• Project management and organizational skills, managing multiple projects under resource constraints.
• Logical reasoning, problem analysis, and escalation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of SQL, SAP/S4 HANA, Alteryx, Business Objects, Salesforce, and data warehousing a plus.

• Base compensation range for eligible U.S. locations: $82,000 – $152,200 USD, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Eligibility for an annual bonus driven by enterprise and individual performance.
