IT Consultant, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, Systems Engineer, Data Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services to the Cloud.
- Collaborate with Humana enterprise teams and/or vendors/partners to define, mature and operationalize cloud patterns, reference architectures, and frameworks for successful cloud adoption.
- Lead architectural discussions, design exercises, and proof of concepts to create world class Cloud Native solutions while ensuring these solutions are practical, implementable and easily consumable by our application teams.
- Author or otherwise contribute to customer facing publications such as playbooks, run books, templates, standards guidance, etc. ensuring these artifacts enable our customers to easily consume Cloud capabilities at scale.
- Provide guidance and thought leadership to enterprise teams with modern/future state cloud architecture and drive discussions with teams about best practices, trade‑offs, implications for technical design & decisions.
- Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision.
- Use your skills to make an impact.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems.
- 10 or more years of experience in the design, development, and testing of software applications.
- Master's Degree.
- Experience working with Azure and/or GCP.
This position's work style is remote from any of the locations listed below. You must reside in close proximity to one of these locations.

You will report to a Director, Enterprise Architecture.
Work from Home RequirementsTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self‑provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25
Mbps and an upload speed of 10
Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. 117,600 – 161,700 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
