Level 2 IT Technician

Overview

The role of the IT Level 2 Technician includes oversight of network and desktop systems, assignment of user and network protocols, and providing configuration standards for workstation deployment, drivers, printers, and other peripherals. It also includes supporting access to network servers (physical and virtual), VPN gateways, wireless access points, switches, and other hardware and software as needed at our five main sites as well as over fifteen remote sites and Azure.

Level 2 support for over 400 active accounts.

• Support technical infrastructure throughout the agency and collaborate with the IT Operations Director to develop procedures to support the IT Help Desk service and provide technical oversight.
• Provide ongoing support for network and desktop systems, including configuring workstation deployment standards and peripherals.
• Assist with access management to network servers, VPN gateways, wireless access points, switches, and related equipment.
• Support operations across five main sites, more than fifteen remote sites, and Azure environments.
• Assist with incident response and escalation for Level 2 issues affecting user accounts (over 400 active accounts).
