OIT ONLY RECRUITMENT: This recruitment is open only to current employees of the Office of Information Technology for the State of Colorado. Contractors currently engaged at OIT do not qualify as employees.
Responsibilities- Collaboratively train, troubleshoot, and support system and process changes within multiple agency environments.
- Create and maintain an environment that is supportable, secure, and scalable.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead staff.
- Manage projects and ensure adequate availability of resources.
- Resolve internal and external customer issues.
- Actively engage in improving leadership skills, attitudes, and knowledge, especially as related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Attend training, development, and group training on topics of inclusive leadership.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.
- Experience must include at least one year performing at the level of Senior/Lead/Matrixed Leadership in a relevant position.
- Additional appropriate education substitutes for required experience on a year‑for‑year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
- Training or certification related to the work assigned to the position counts toward substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
- If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience substitutes for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis.
- 6+ years of knowledge of computer/network systems infrastructure requirements and standards, standard software packages, patch deployment methodologies, and change control processes.
- Experience working with enterprise security tools – Bit Locker, Crowd Strike, Tenable Nessus, etc.
- Experience working with Service Now.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting end‑user systems with Microsoft Intune/Auto Pilot and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
OIT employees must comply with screening procedures in place at state agency locations where they might perform work. A pre‑employment background check will be conducted, and post‑employment checks may be required. This position may require travel within the specified geographic area and to locations across the state as needed. On‑call duties may be required. Remote work must be performed in Colorado, and candidates from outside Colorado must relocate before starting.
