Business Analyst Internship - NISSC - COS

Position Overview

The Business Analyst Internship supports the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II) for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). This onsite role at Amentum’s Downtown Building in Colorado Springs captures day‑shift duties, supporting financial, contractual, and operational functions.

• Support financial reviews, time reporting, invoicing, and auditing activities.
• Assist with RFP development for contracts and subcontracts.
• Process and support Non‑Disclosure Agreements, teaming agreements, and other contractual instruments.
• Manage Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and GSA invoicing.
• Support General Ledger reconciliation and overall process improvements.
• Prepare financial reports, contracts, subcontract reviews, and risk assessments.
• Advise the team on contractual implications of proposed actions.
• Review and process proposal requests, contract documents, and issue contractual communications.
• Coordinate with Legal, Insurance, Risk, Project Controls, and Business Office on contractual terms and risk issues.
• Develop contract summaries and maintain documentation throughout the project.
• Ensure compliance with vital records, reporting, contract audit, claims, litigations, and close‑out requirements.
• Track proposal due dates, maintain schedules, and coordinate with task order teams.
• Maintain document files per Policies and Procedures for internal and external audits.

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Final year of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field, or recent graduate with such a degree.

• Experience with People Soft Financials, Payroll, Procurement and Subcontracts.

Salary: $45,000–$50,000 annually.

Location:

onsite at Amentum’s Downtown Building, Colorado Springs, CO. Remote work not available. Travel up to 10% of the time. Day shift.

Position requires a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance. Dual‑citizens must relinquish foreign citizenship to obtain clearance.
