Job Description
A public-sector organization is hiring a Digital Accessibility Specialist to support accessibility compliance across websites, applications, and digital content. This person will act as the accessibility SME, leading audits, advising teams on remediation efforts, and helping establish accessibility best practices across the organization.
Contract Duration: 12 months
Required Skills & Experience
+ Digital accessibility auditing experience
+ Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards
+ ADA accessibility compliance experience
+
Experience with accessibility testing tools and screen readers (JAWS/NVDA)
Desired Skills & Experience
+ IAAP certifications (CPWA, WAS, ADS, or CPACC)
+ Government or public-sector experience
+ Section 508 knowledge
+ UX/UI accessibility experience
