IT Specialist

Requirements Must have:

• – We require an associate degree in Information Technologies, or at least two years of experience in IT, software development, IT project coordination, or a similar technical discipline.

• – Willingness to travel as needed to support IT projects across our locations is required.
• – Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, or Type Script is highly desirable.
• – Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or ASP.NET Core is highly desirable.
• – Experience managing databases, including SQL or No
  
  SQL systems, is highly desirable.
• – Experience with programming, automation, and systems integration is highly desirable.
• – Experience in systems administration, including operating systems and Microsoft 365, is highly desirable.
• – Experience in networking, hardware, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure support is highly desirable.
• – Experience with artificial intelligence tools, data analysis, or emerging technologies is highly desirable.
• – Experience with project management or cross-functional technology implementation is highly desirable.

• – We support IT projects across multiple locations, including travel when needed.
• – We take on additional duties as assigned to support the effectiveness and continued growth of our IT department.

This full-time IT Specialist role with a developer emphasis reports to our Vice President of IT and is ideally based in Juneau or Hoonah, Alaska, with remote work considered based on experience.

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience, a strong benefits package that includes employer-paid health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage for the employee, generous paid time off, a 6% employer match subject to plan terms, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team environment.
