About

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Software Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software solutions. As a QA Software Analyst at Grab Jobs, you will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and designers to identify, document, and resolve software defects. Your primary focus will be executing manual and automated tests, developing comprehensive test plans, and providing actionable feedback to improve our platform.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about quality assurance to make a tangible impact on products that serve critical emergency response functions. Candidates must currently reside in Michigan, as applications from outside the state will not be considered.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of four years of experience in software testing or quality assurance is required, along with at least two years of remote work experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and debugging techniques. Familiarity with Agile development processes, testing within the .NET

framework, and understanding of Dev Ops practices are essential. Additional preferred qualifications include a Certified Software Tester or Quality Engineer certification, proficiency with Jira, experience in the EMS industry, and familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Hoppscotch. Hands‑on experience with test automation tools like Playwright is also advantageous. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a QA Software Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to identify defects and verify software quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—such as project managers, developers, and designers—to understand project requirements and ensure seamless integration of new features. Troubleshooting and documenting software issues will be a key part of your role, along with tracking defect resolution progress.

You will also be responsible for continuously refining QA processes by adopting industry best practices and emerging testing trends. Providing comprehensive testing reports, including bug severity assessments and potential impacts, will facilitate informed decision-making. Ensuring that the final product aligns with client expectations and enhances user experience is central to your duties. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development of our quality standards.
