IT Operations Coordinator; m​/f​/d Remote; locations within Germany

To do this, we connect new thinkers from science and business, people with outstanding ideas, special expertise and  the EUDI Wallet Ecosystem project, which SPRIND is carrying out on behalf of the newly formed Federal Ministry of the Digitalization and State Modernization (BMDS), a concept for a German implementation of the EU eIDAS 2.0 regulation including a digital wallet is being developed and tested.

Representatives of organized civil society, business associations and administration as well as experts from science are involved in a public consultation process that accompanies the project. Mid-term this project will be transformed into a to-be-founded government-owned entity that takes over the EUDI Ecosystem for the permanent further development and operation of the platform.

YOUR ROLE:

You enjoy ensuring that IT infrastructure is well-structured, well-organised and properly documented. It’s important for you to understand and get to the bottom of things from atechnical point of view as well. Your understanding of IT project management and ITpurchasing knowledge enables you to assess quotations from both a technical andbudgetary perspective. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate our IT-application and
  -service lifecycle
• Control IT purchasing (hardware, software, services)
• Manage access rights control and account management
• Implementation of the IT access process
• Monitoring of our IT approval process

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Substantiated experience in IT project management
• Knowledge and understanding of IT purchasing
• Solid experience in the provision and operation of UNIX/Linux systems
• Good knowledge of the provision and configuration of automation and monitoring solutions
• Basic knowledge of storage administration for local and central storage systems
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
