Duration: 12 months contract (with possible extension)
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Conduct data discovery stakeholder interview and workshops to collect business data processes with business and IT stakeholders.
- Identify data sets, develop data flows, understand data-related processes, and identify key data issues within business areas.
- Create Data Discovery metrics & presentation.
- Onboard and operationalize Business Glossary into Collibra, the Data Governance tool.
- Facilitate business with dataset onboarding and report certification in Collibra.
- Support the Data Governance Lead to integrate data governance solutions.
- Liaison with key stakeholders on DG initiatives within their lines of business.
- This role will also be responsible for some reporting (Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, etc.)
- Working experience in Data Governance or Data Management area.
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance & Quality - policies, processes, and tools.
- Strong presentation & communication skills are required.
- Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, and able to create reports / dashboards for senior leaders.
- Working in Agile environments.
- Monday through Friday. 7.5-hour workday with .5-hour unpaid lunch. Paid for actual time worked; there are no paid vacation or sick days
- Fully remote positions are prohibited. Hybrid schedules are permissible with a minimum of 3 days on-site depending on assignment and can be fully on-site depending on business needs. Remote work privileges can be revoked at any time.
- This role will support the Data Governance Program - focusing on enabling data stewardship, improving the quality of our data assets, increasing data security and protection, simplifying data integration, and establishing better audit trails on data usage.
- Undergraduate degree is required. Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Data Governance or Data Management.
