Bechtel's M&T Digital Solutions team is seeking an Information Automation Specialist to support the development, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of low- and medium-code business applications, data and AI workflows across the team's digitalization initiatives.
Reporting to the Manager of Innovation and Information, this role works closely with the M&T Digital Solutions team to configure, administer, maintain, and continuously improve business applications built on Low to Medium code platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, Quickbase, Copilot Studio) ensuring high availability, data quality, user adoption, and operational support across multiple project teams. This position is also intended to work alongside multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance project delivery, operational efficiency, and safety across Bechtel's global portfolio.
The position provides broad support across a range of digitalization activities, with the opportunity to grow automation and development skills while delivering practical solutions that improve workflow efficiency and project execution.
Major Responsibilities- Build and configure low- to medium-code applications (e.g. Microsoft Power Apps and Quickbase to support project and team workflows
- Work with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, map business processes to develop and maintain workflow automations
- Configure forms, workflows, and dashboards, and support reporting and data visualization needs
- Support data validation, data quality assurance, and basic ETL/ELT activities across connected platforms
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments, and release activities
- Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and issue resolution for deployed applications and data workflows
- Support integration with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams) and data sources such as Databricks
- Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, release notes, and user training materials
- Support change management and data governance practices across the digital solutions environment
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to build AI models for predictive analytics, computer vision, natural language processing, and optimization.
- Support the integration of AI solutions into enterprise systems and digital platforms.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights and identify opportunities for automation and innovation
- Take on other miscellaneous digitalization and automation activities as needed to support the team
- Configure and maintain and day to day administration of the low to Medium code applications, tables, relationships, forms, reports, dashboards, pipelines, and user permissions and issues.
- Assist with application migrations, testing, version updates, and production deployments.
- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
