Senior Azure Network Engineer

Overview

The Senior Azure Network Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based network services as well as collaboration tools such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive while maintaining secure and efficient network configurations across enterprise environments.

• Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, and Internet systems.
• Setup and monitoring of all backups with test restores.
• Administration of Azure cloud-based servers will be a primary duty for this position.
• Advise and recommend cloud server changes.
• Manage cloud server cost and recommend improvements.
• Maintain DR site and replication of data.
• Manage Anti-Virus for all servers and clients.
• Setup of all client PCs.
• Setup and manage all network user security.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and monitoring access.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring, analysis and tuning.
• Troubleshooting network problems escalating problems to vendor.
• Identify user needs.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Provide support and administration of Office 365 Exchange environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of network engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft Azure networking solutions.

    Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Networking certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
• Experience with:
  • Terraform
  • Azure Dev Ops
  • Zero Trust architecture
