This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for aWorkday Certified Adaptive Planning Consultant based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to help organizations transform their financial planning processes through innovative enterprise planning solutions. You will lead end-to-end deployments, designing and configuring Adaptive Planning solutions that align with client business objectives. Working closely with finance teams, technical specialists, and project stakeholders, you will deliver scalable solutions that improve planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. The position combines functional expertise, technical problem-solving, and client engagement within a collaborative consulting environment.

You will contribute to solution design, implementation excellence, and the continued growth of advanced planning services. This is an opportunity for a Workday-certified professional to make a measurable impact while supporting clients through successful digital transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities:

The Workday Certified Adaptive Planning Consultant will lead all aspects of Adaptive Planning implementations, ensuring successful delivery of client solutions from design through deployment. This role requires strong financial planning knowledge, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality client relationships.

  • Lead end-to-end Adaptive Planning deployments, including solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Build budgets, forecasts, and reporting solutions within Adaptive Planning to support finance and business planning needs.
  • Analyze existing financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting processes and translate them into scalable Adaptive Planning solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance on Adaptive Planning architecture, configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Support Workday Data Management activities, including data setup, user synchronization, plan publishing, position creation, and Planning Configuration Manager processes.
  • Maintain expertise and certification across the Adaptive Planning product suite.
  • Participate in client discovery sessions, sales opportunities, solution scoping, and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance planning service offerings and implementation methodologies.
  • Mentor and support other consultants by sharing technical knowledge, implementation experience, and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring successful client outcomes.
  • Contribute to conference presentations and industry knowledge-sharing activities when applicable.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a Workday-certified professional with strong Adaptive Planning experience, financial modeling expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality consulting solutions. They should be organized, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Current Workday Partner certification in Adaptive Planning required.
  • Certification in Workday Adaptive Implementation and/or Workday Financials is a plus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Experience completing 5+ end-to-end Adaptive Planning deployments.
  • Strong background in financial planning, accounting, management reporting, or related disciplines.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical planning models and configurations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% depending on project requirements.
