Consultant - Applications Programmer - Data Reporting and Operations Management

Overview

Individual contributor role in Global Operations, Data Reporting and Operations Management (Initiative Management). Responsibilities include developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software and workflow solutions for SWFT and eForms, as well as configuring enterprise workflow forms and processes.

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations, including project budget management.
• Collaborate with external programmers and business users to coordinate delivery of software applications.
• Configure workflow input forms and user access, test completed forms, and schedule them for production deployment.
• Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
• Work under minimal supervision with general guidance from seasoned consultants.

High School Diploma, GED, or Secondary School equivalent.

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience configuring and implementing workflow or business process automation solutions on a comparable platform.
• Extensive experience with SWFT (Simplified Workflow Tool) and other workflow configuration tools.
• Proven ability to perform requirements analysis, intake and fulfillment form creation, routing and conditional logic, testing, deployment, and production publication.
• Demonstrated knowledge of requirements gathering, business‑process analysis, and solution design for mandatory administrative functions.
• Experience self‑managing the full configuration lifecycle with minimal oversight.
• Proven ability to design workflow solutions for complex operational processes and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workflow configuration initiatives while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail in a production environment.
• Strong communication skills, capability to consult stakeholders and articulate technical solutions.

• Proven ability to lead projects and coordinate team activities for special initiatives or operational efforts, without direct supervisory responsibility.
• Comfortable working independently and in collaborative, large‑group environments while managing multiple concurrent assignments.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and direction for individual initiatives and partner with technical teams for solution delivery.
