2019re looking for a talented Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise Field Engineering team. In this role, youu
2019ll partner closely with sales to understand the complex needs of our largest enterprise customers and show them how the combined power of Fivetran and dbt Labs can turn those challenges into real business outcomes. Youu
2019ll bring the technical expertise, uncovering functional and technical requirements, designing solutions that fit, and driving a rigorous proof-of-value process that earns the technical win at every stage of the sales cycle.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the Southeastern US (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL), with a willingness to travel 30%+

• Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business requirements, use cases, and develop prescriptive solutions recommendations
• Develop and deliver value-based, technical solution demonstrations to enterprise audiences
• Owning and drive structured proof-of-value process that secures the technical win
• Work closely with Product, Support, Customer Success and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of our solutions to enterprise customer needs
• Own the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation through product adoption and expansion
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key partners
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in our industry

Skills Weu
2019re Looking For

• 4+ years of Enterprise solutions engineering experience driving end to end technical sales cycle
• Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in SQL, ELT, data modeling, analytics engineering, databases or software development
• A firm understanding of a modern data warehousing architectures and the ability to discuss them credibly with technical audiences
• Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical personas
• Bias for action - you move fast, ship early, and refine as you learn
• A passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge or prior experience with dbt
• Networking and security knowledge relevant to enterprise deployments, such as private networking, VPC/Private Link,…
