To strengthen our Pre-Sales Team, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect – Public Sector (DACH) with a focus on research and education.

You will work in our Enterprise Architecture Pre-Sales Team and support our Focus Sales Team Public – Focus Research and Education in the establishment and expansion of long-term and strategic customer relationships.

The focus lies in the identification and analysis of business and IT requirements – in close cooperation with our sales and "Go to Market Practices" teams. The role combines presales, enterprise architecture, market development and strategic customer consulting. AI is a key focus – embedded in the core portfolio of NTT DATA.Inc.

The most important tasks and responsibilities:

• Strategic presales support of the sales team in the establishment and expansion of long-term business relationships in the defined customer segment Public Sector with a focus on research and education in the DACH region.
• Analysis, consulting and development of business and IT requirements and the elaboration of high-quality portfolio-wide solution proposals in the team – including active market and topic development as well as the building and maintenance of new and existing customer relationships.
• Taking over the technical solution responsibility and steering of the involved units within the framework of complex offer and solution concepts in the presales phase as well as support in the development of the win strategy.
• Positioning and presentation of our solution and service portfolio to decision-makers as well as conducting workshops.
• Positioning the NTT DATA.Inc portfolio in close cooperation with internal departments, portfolio teams, delivery, governance and international units.

What you bring to us:

• A technical or commercial degree or a comparable qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience in comparable roles as well as experience in dealing with IT management and business contacts.
• Understanding of the requirements of the public sector – knowledge in the research and education environment is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in the areas of digital transformation, IT architectures, operational processes, products and services, familiar with the latest IT technologies / trends with corresponding market and competition knowledge – as well as interest in AI.
• Experience in at least two or more areas of the fields of networking, cyber security, collaboration, hybrid cloud & data center.
• The ability to identify and understand complex business and IT requirements and to derive solution approaches from them and to present their benefits.
• Resilience, a well-structured and independent working method; team orientation as well as the ability to manage interdisciplinary teams.
• High customer orientation and communication skills.
• Fluent German knowledge at least at B2 to C1 level and English language skills as well as residence in Germany.
